Cancellation Policy

At Humming Beauty, your comfort, privacy, and safety are my top priorities. As a solo estethician working in a small, private studio, space is extremely limited. To ensure the best experience for all clients, the following guest policy is in place: Lash Extension Appointments: Due to the nature of the lash extension service, which typically takes 5 hours to complete a full set, the last available time slot for lash clients is 2:00 PM. This ensures that every client receives the time and attention needed to achieve beautiful, long-lasting lashes without being rushed. Please ensure that you book your lash extension appointment accordingly. We recommend booking well in advance to secure your preferred time. Lash Refill Policy At Humming Beauty, I do not perform refills on lash sets applied by other artists. This is to maintain the health of your natural lashes and ensure the best possible retention and results. Products, techniques, and application standards vary greatly between lash techs, which can lead to poor retention and potential damage when working over someone else’s work. To provide the high-quality, long-lasting lashes Humming Beauty is known for, I require all new clients to start with a full set. However, I’m happy to remove your current lashes and start fresh with a customized set just for you. Please book a lash removal + full set if you're coming in with existing extensions. Thank you for trusting me with your lashes—I’m excited to give you a fresh, flawless look! Waxing Appointments: Waxing services, which generally require less time, are available throughout the day and can be scheduled at any time. Please feel free to choose a time that best fits your schedule. Late Arrivals: We allow a 10-minute grace period for late arrivals. If you are running late, please notify us as soon as possible. If you arrive within the 10-minute window, we will still proceed with your appointment, but please note that your service time may be shortened. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, your appointment may need to be rescheduled or canceled, at our discretion, to respect the schedules of other clients. If we are notified within the 10-minute window, we will try our best to accommodate you, but this may result in a shortened No Additional Guests Allowed: Due to the size of the treatment room and to maintain a calm and focused environment, clients are not permitted to bring guests (including children, friends, or family members and pets) into the treatment area. This policy applies to all appointments, regardless of service type or duration. Exceptions: Clients under the age of 18 may be accompanied by one parent or legal guardian, who must remain in the waiting area during the service unless otherwise discussed. Deposits Required : Booking & Payment Card on File: A valid credit card is required to reserve your appointment. You are welcome to use a different payment method on the day of service.A deposit is required to secure your appointment. All deposits go toward the total cost of your service on the day of your appointment Preferred Payment: Cash is appreciated (please note: exact change only, as no change is provided). Venmo and card payments are also accepted Cancellation Policy: Life happens—I totally understand! If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please keep the following in mind: Cancellations can be made online up to 2 hours before your scheduled appointment. If you cancel at least 2 hours in advance, your deposit will be fully refunded or applied to your next appointment. Cancellations made within 2 hours of your appointment must be made by phone, and your deposit will NOT be refunded. No-shows or late cancellations affect my small business greatly. I appreciate your understanding and support in respecting this policy Before Your Appointment Required Forms: All clients must complete a Waxing Intake/Consent Form prior to their appointment.
