Cancellation Policy
At Humming Beauty, your comfort, privacy, and safety are my top priorities. As a solo estethician working in a small, private studio, space is extremely limited. To ensure the best experience for all clients, the following guest policy is in place: Lash Extension Appointments: Lash Full Set Scheduling Policy Lash full sets require approximately 4 hours to complete. To ensure quality work and proper scheduling, please review the following: I am open Monday–Wednesday and Friday from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Due to the length of a full set service, the latest full set appointment available on these days is 9:00 AM. Later full set appointments are only available on Saturdays and Sundays, as I am open 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on those days. Appointments booked outside of these guidelines may be adjusted, rescheduled, or canceled to accommodate service time and existing bookings. This policy allows me to give each full set the time and attention it deserves while staying on schedule for all clients. Please ensure that you book your lash extension appointment accordingly. We recommend booking well in advance to secure your preferred time. Lash Fill Policy Lash fills require at least 40% of lash extensions remaining on BOTH eyes. If less than 40% remains, the service will be automatically changed to a full set and charged at the full set price. I do NOT offer foreign fills. If you arrive with another artist’s work, I can remove the existing lashes and apply a clean full set. This service will be charged as a full set. If time does not allow for a full set, the appointment may be rescheduled or canceled based on availability and scheduling. This policy ensures the quality, safety, and longevity of your lash extensions Products, techniques, and application standards vary greatly between lash techs, which can lead to poor retention and potential damage when working over someone else’s work. To provide the high-quality, long-lasting lashes Humming Beauty is known for, I require all new clients to start with a full set. Arrive With Clean Lashes All lash clients must arrive with clean, makeup-free lashes. Please remove all makeup on or around the eyes before your appointment. No lash glue, mascara, or strip lash residue is allowed. Makeup remover and wipes are NOT provided. Failure to arrive with clean lashes may result in additional charges, reduced retention, or appointment cancellation.ďe Appointment Preparation You will be lying down with your eyes closed for the duration of your lash service. Please avoid caffeine before your appointment, as it can cause eye fluttering. If you have very sensitive eyes, notify me before the service begins. I will do my best to accommodate, but please note the service may take longer. Waxing Appointments: General Waxing Appointments Waxing services generally require less time than lash services and are available throughout the day. Clients may schedule waxing appointments at any available time that best fits their schedule. Please arrive on time to ensure your full service can be completed comfortably and efficiently. Waxing Services for Men At this time, I do not offer manzilian (male Brazilian) services, as I am not trained in this service. I do accept male clients for nose, ear, and brow waxing only, and these appointments are by referral from a loyal client. Appointments outside of these services will not be accepted. Hair Length Requirement For best results, hair must be at least the length of a grain of rice or longer. Hair that is too short cannot be properly waxed. If you arrive with insufficient hair growth, the appointment will be rescheduled, and standard cancellation policies may apply. These policies help ensure effective hair removal, client comfort, and high-quality results for every waxing service. Hygiene Policy For the comfort, safety, and professionalism of all services, clients are required to arrive clean and freshly showered for their appointment. If a client arrives with poor hygiene or is excessively sweaty, the appointment will be canceled and rescheduled at the discretion of the service provider. Deposits will not be refunded in these situations. This policy is in place to maintain proper sanitation standards and to ensure a comfortable experience for both the client and service provider. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation Late Arrivals: Clients are allowed a 10-minute grace period. After 10 minutes, a $15 late fee will be applied. To avoid the late fee, communication is required before the 10-minute mark. No communication + more than 10 minutes late = appointment cancellation, and the full service amount will be charged. Please note: GlossGenius securely keeps cards on file, and fees will be charged accordingly. Communication is key to keeping your appointment. No Additional Guests Policy To maintain a calm and focused environment, no guests are allowed in the treatment room, including children, friends, family, or pets. Clients under 18 may be accompanied by one parent or legal guardian, who must remain in the waiting area unless otherwise discussed. Service Concerns Policy Your satisfaction matters. Any concerns must be reported within 3 days of your appointment. I will gladly assess and correct my work if needed. No refunds are provided once a service is completed. After 3 days, no adjustments or accommodations will be offered. This policy applies to both lash and waxing services. Deposits Required : Booking & Payment Card on File: A valid credit card is required to reserve your appointment. You are welcome to use a different payment method on the day of service.A deposit is required to secure your appointment. All deposits go toward the total cost of your service on the day of your appointment Preferred Payment: Cash is appreciated (please note: exact change only, as no change is provided). Card payments/ TAP are also accepted w Cancellation Policy: Life happens—I totally understand! If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please keep the following in mind: Cancellations/ rescheduling can be made online up to 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment must be made by phone, and your deposit will NOT be refunded. No-shows or late cancellations affect my small business greatly. I appreciate your understanding and support in respecting this policy. No-shows (failure to show up without notice) will be charged 100% of the service total. Appointments canceled due to lateness beyond the 10-minute grace period with no communication are considered a no-show and will be charged in full. GlossGenius securely keeps cards on file, and all applicable fees will be charged automatically. To ensure a private, safe, and distraction-free experience for both you and your service provider.
